Marital Settlement Agreements (MSA) can be entered into at any time before the final Divorce Judgment. They are typically filed with the final Divorce Judgment.
A Marital Settlement Agreement or MSA delineates the terms of the divorce including the relationship between the wife and husband after the divorce is granted. These agreements usually cover property division, child custody, visitation rights, debt division, spousal child and spousal support as well as any other relevant matters related to the divorce.
